What the Greenmarket does for locally-grown food products, the Artisan Market does for local art and design.
Since its debut the Artisan Market has provided a much-needed venue for local artists and designers to show and sell their wares in an easily accessible and popular location. The Market creates a veritable outdoor sidewalk gallery showing a wide range of functional and collectible art and design items. Artists personally display and sell only their own original creations. Added to the benefit of purchasing a well crafted original, one also has the opportunity to talk to the artist about how their piece was made.
You’ll find no fleas on us. Only independent design, crafts and fine arts are presented for sale at Artisan-Market, our weekly fundraiser for the Fort Greene Park Conservancy. Artisan-Market is located adjacent to the year-round Fort Greene GreenMarket on the DeKalb Avenue side of Fort Greene Park.
Visit our first-ever holiday season market, commencing on November 28, following Thanksgiving. The new Fort Greene Park Holiday Market comprises a month worth of Saturdays, starting November 28 to December 19, 2020 from 9am - 4pm. Spring/Summer 2021 and the Fall 2021 schedule will be posted soon. Hope to see you there!
We are following COVID-19 safe health guidelines: please wear a mask and keep a six foot distance between you and others. Pay with credit/debit cards when possible and don’t touch items till after purchase. Stay safe and healthy.
